"Friendship Quotes"

“A friend is someone who understands your past, believes in your future, and accepts you just the way you are.”
“Truly great friends are hard to find, difficult to leave, and impossible to forget.”
“A friend is someone who helps you up when you're down, and if they can't, they lay down beside you and listen.”
"Many people will walk in and out of you life, but only true friends will leave footprints in your heart."
“A true friend is one who knows all about you and likes you anyway.”
“The most beautiful discovery true friends make is that they can grow separately without growing apart.”
"When you look around and your world is crumbling, and when you think no one loves you, your best friend is the one to run to."
A true friend is someone who knows there's something wrong even when you have the biggest smile on your face."
“When it hurts to look back, and you're scared to look ahead, you can look beside you and your best friend will be there.”
Fear makes strangers of people who would be friends.
A friendship can weather most things and thrive in thin soil; but it needs a little mulch of letters and phone calls and small, silly presents every so often - just to save it from drying out completely.

Memorial Day Weekend

Over the break I went to Mall of America for 3 days and the zoo in Minnesota. The first day we got there we went to the mall then the zoo the next day. It took forever to look go through the whole mall and get to the stores I wanted to get to. That mall is about 10 times the size of Mayfair mall, that is if you include the roller coasters there to. One of my favorite stores was the Garage because it was just like Hollister and Abercrombie & Fitch. That store was so cool, there is no Garage by us so that's also why I really liked it. I got lost twice in Abercrombie & Fitch for real, it was 4 times the size of any Abercrombie & Fitch I have ever seen. I had a lot of fun other than having a 3 hour lecture from my goody goody aunt and uncle about how my sister and I were up at the hotel almost all night long. That was probably the only down fall to my vacation. We are just so so bad to them because their goody goody kids that they have but that's okay to me I guess because I don't mind it that much. Anyways..the zoo was pretty fun. My 3 year old cousin loved the animals their. The hotel was also pretty beast, I met some people there too except I didn't get there names haha. lol. Overall I would rate my weekend a 10 out of 10.

drifting out to sea...

Okay so Kassy, my sister Melissa, and I went swimming in the lake. As our plan is to just go out to the bowie and paddle back on a tube. But we end up in the middle of the lake as the winds push us just further and further away. And of coarse there's always going to be someone pushing the other person off as in Melissa, she pushed Kassy and I off the tube. That's something she would do though. So here we are in the middle of the lake 30 feet feet or so away from the tube because of Melissa. We just kept going under the water while trying to float on one little life jacket. Here other people in their boats are prbably like who are these kids on a tube. Were tired of swimming while Melissa and the other boats were making more and more waves. So me and her are on one life jacket trying to stay above the water. We weren't latterly in the middle of the lake but pretty close. The hardest thing was trying to paddle back while boats around us were going 40 mph around us! We look like idots trying to swim our way back to shore. haha lol.

You have nothing to do you just sit stare at something or just do nothing. But what could u do..nothing or something? Dumb question right because who cares what you do. But what still remains in this has so much to do with what your life is based on and everyone should live their life to the fullest.

10 o'clock p.m.

It's 10:00 p.m. I'm laying down in my bed just thinking about how my day was but just when the lights suddenly go out in my room I jump and look around. As I turn on my right side of me and experience one of the most scariest things. There's shadows passing my yard..? For some reason this occurs just about every night at 10 o'clock p.m....rare much? Okay so say your the one that usually get scared 20 percent of the time out of 100 percent and something just blows you away like this..what do you do? How bout put blinds up? No. I can't because my sister of course broke them while she thought that it would be cool with no care in the world to just tear down my blinds..now look what happens I get hunted from something my little sister did. But now the question relies..who is this creature in my backyard appearing at 10 o'clock ever night? I don't know..it vanishes within 20 seconds. I'm not hallucinating or dreamming. Because if I was it wouldn't be happening every night. It's almost as if I just see this thing at night for the little while it's there and then it just disappears because I can see it, kinda like what goasts do to people. They vanish maybe because they're scared. Kinda like how birds fly away when you come up to them. There is no real soultion of knowing what this thing is in my yard. So I had a blanket pined up. The answer will soon come some day.

Career Week

Last week more than half of our 8th grade went to UWM, WCTC, the child care, westwood pro health care, Marriott hotel, and American. It was more fun than going to classes. Somewhere where I would want to work is at westwood, working at the childcare there would be fun to me. I wouldn't want to work at American though, just because it's not something I would want to do as my carrer.

Girl Essay

Having one of the biggest responsibilities in your house or anywhere can be tough. And in the short story “Girl” that is what it is all about. Your told what to do all the time and you know that you can’t reject what your told. There were so many things that had to be done and accomplished in “Girl”. Living the life of work and the high expectations can be hard.

The girl in this story has so many household tasks and errands to get done. Cook for the family, clean the house, always act polite to people, and most of all act like the lady you know you are. Things are very formal and proper in this story and everything is well planned out. But all of the responsibility on the girl can make living life a lot more hard, with no freedom. Years and years ago, men never felt like there was a tremendous amount of responsibility on their hands. Sure they would have to work and make sure that things around the house was fixed, but the woman and would have the work on them. That’s exactly how it went in the short story, “Girl”.

Making sure that everyone is healthy and catered, with love from their parents is not exactly how it is in this story. What has to get done, has to get done. Work is more important to the girl and the way other families look at them. Looking embarrassed, dirty, immature, and unorganized is the last thing that would ever happen.

Justin Bieber Research Paper

Justin Drew Bieber was born on March 1st, 1994 in St. Judes hospital. Justin’s parents, Patty and Jeremy have been devoiced since he was two. He was born and raised in Stratford, Ontario, Canada. Growing up was just a regular kid with a normal life. He likes to hang out with friends, go to the movies, and Justin’s favorite color is Blue. Hockey has been Justin’s favorite sport for a long time. Born talented, with enormous features, piano, drums, guitar, and an amazing voice. Bieber took percussion when he was just two. “I was basically banging on everything I could get my hands on.” He says. Pattie bought him a drum kit, guitar and keyboard, and he taught himself to play all of them. Talented 15 year old, Justin Bieber started singing at 12. Justin Bieber entered in a local singing competition called Stratford Idol. There were other people in the competition that had been taking singing lessons and vocal coaches. Justin got 2ed place in the competition at age 12 and says that he wasn’t taking it too seriously at the time. He would just sing around the house. Some of his family members that couldn’t make it, so Justin posted his performance on YouTube. The year of 2007, Bieber’s mom made a YouTube account so that her friends could see Justin sing Ne-Yo's "So Sick" at a local competition. So she upload more clips of Justin performing R&B covers. But little did he know that he would make it big someday. Patty has been praying for Justin for a while and with all of the great talents this 15 year old has anything is possible to happen.

Now Justin Bieber is number 23 on YouTube's most-subscribed-musicians list! As it turned out, there were tons of other people that really liked Bieber’s videos. Justin started receiving comments and tons of subscriptions. Then it hit the million mark and Scooter Braun, found him on YouTube. Now Scooter Braun, his manger, has made Justin this big famous teen pop star that everyone adores. Bieber started posting videos on YouTube when he was 12. So much has happened from the beginning of 2009 to 2010! It’s has been a real gift for Justin. Screaming girls everywhere, Bieber tells interviewers and reporters. and getting to travel all over the world has been an amazing experience for this pop star. So much can happen in such little time. Performing many times a week and working in the studio is something Justin never thought he would ever be doing at the age of 15.

Not too many people that are 15 get the opportunity to work with some of their favorite celebrates. In the video “One Time “, Justin got to make a video with Usher, which was very cool.

Yes, it is true on November 23, 2009, Justin Bieber broke his right foot on stage in front of 11,000 people. He broke his foot while singing "One Time," when he tripped down the ramp and his foot got twisted. Justin carried on with the show but then he ended it and went to the hospital! News reporter and during interviews people have always asked Justin what his most embarrassed moment was and he never really had an answer. So on November 23, 2009, Justin Bieber performed at Wembley, London. With his closing song “One Time” he hurt himself very badly with a painful tumble, right in the beginning of the song. Justin says, “I tripped over something on stage coming down the ramp and felt my ankle roll in a very bad way.” Right after that happened, Justin had broken his right foot and continued with a excruciating finish. When getting off the stage, limping, Justin was sent to medical attention. “As a result to the injury Bieber had to cancel his planned encore.” Shortly after his fall, Justin posted a picture on twitter of his foot in a cast and had explained what had happened. "Turns out I fractured my foot and had to finish the song on a broken foot. After I was done I was in such pain I skipped the encore and got off stage and (went) back to see the medics." Justin Bieber was then taken to a local hospital in an ambulance. He said, "Taylor Swift came backstage to see me before I went to the hospital because she is awesome!" On Tuesday morning, Justin went back to the doctors to have his makeshift cast replaced with an air cast. The air cast was worn for six weeks after he had got it. Justin didn’t want his broken foot to get in the way of supporting Taylor Swift on tour that day. “He hit the stage just hours later on Tuesday to perform on a stool in Manchester, England.” “The injury comes just days after Bieber was threatened with arrest after refusing to stay away from a planned appearance at a Long Island, New York shopping mall, which turned into a riot when 10,000 fans showed up!”

As Pattie can see, so much can happen with faith and prayer. She is so blessed to have such a skilled son with so many talents. It would have been a shame if this teen pop star wouldn’t have became famous. There are so many teens that look up to him and so many that remain jealous. And as what Usher tells him, being famous you always need to remember to just stay humble. Justin says that his friends and family are a lot of support. “I wouldn’t be in this position if it wasn’t for my fans.” Says Justin Bieber.

Day of the Butterfly Essay

It’s the first day of school and everyone looks at Myra Sayla differently than everyone else. Feeling like you don’t belong and having kids talk behind your back, and laugh at you would make most people want to change. But in this story, Day of the Butterfly, Myra doesn’t feel that way. To her, just having one friend would be amazing and lift up more confidence about herself. Myra is confused because she doesn’t know why nobody likes her. Readers can relate to Myra because "Day of the Butterfly" is a realistic story that has to do with real life. You would think that it’s the main character that realizes a lesson, but it’s actually not. Myra grows and doesn’t let things her to her.

Any person in this position would do whatever there is to fit in and change. But with Myra it’s different; something just comes to her and it gets a lot better. But things don’t turn out for the better; it’s worse. She is not excepted at first but then when she get leukemia things change a lot. That could happen with anyone, getting diagnosed with Leukemia and the kids at school that were mean to Myra felt bad. Especially when she ends up dying. So much can be learned and a valuable lesson.

Going through what Myra went through was very very tuff and difficult. She went through so much with kids not treating her right and the chemo that had to be done with the Leukemia. But Myra still never had it get to her and that’s what made her so strong.

The Necklace Essay

The necklace is a short story that is based off a girl that has nothing. Madame Mathilde Loisel, the main character wishes that she was this rich girl that got everything she wanted, with cute and good looking things. Beautiful Mathilde, desires that her life would be different than how it is now. But to Mathilde that is something she knows is impossible to have. Owning just one fantastic thing would be astonishing to Mathilde. Things get her jealous at times but what happens to her changes everything and makes her think. Throughout "The Necklace" there is a huge lesson taught and things like this can happen in real life to other people, which sometimes do. There are numerous connections made with an understanding that she eventually realizes. Mathilde learns so much and realizes at the end what she does wrong.

Mathilde learns a valuable lesson in this story. First gets invited to a ball, she becomes very upset, there’s nothing for her to wear so her husband Monsieur Loisel offers to buy her a new dress. But afterward she has absolutely no jewelry to wear and Mathilde thinks that going to an event like this is something you need to have some type of jewelry for. "Monsieur suggests that she can maybe borrow one of her friends jewelry." So she asks her rich friend Madame Loisel and she is totally okay with it, here’s no problem with it for her. Her friend lets her choose from all the jewelry that she has and Loisel picks out a really pretty necklace that that looks real buy really ends up being is fake. She goes to the ball and leaves with the necklace not one her, panics and loses control with nothing to do but look for it. She goes to a store and asks the clerk how much it was worth and that was 10,000 dollars, so for the next 10 years Mathide pays it off and gets Madme Loisel the necklace a brand new necklace." But what she ends up finding out is, the necklace was fake all along. This lesson taught is one of the most important events in The Necklace. Mathide knows that she should gave gone to Madme right after she lost it but at the same time it might have been a good thing that she didn’t because then she wouldn’t of learned from her mistake. When you borrow something from someone else you’re not as watchful. As frightful as Mathide was she still came to a sulution and solved the problem.

Lots of people go through the same situation as Mathide and the characters in this story make a good point. The Necklace is about a person that is poor with nothing and struggling to stay saticfied in her every day life. But b
orrowing something from someone else then losing it happens in real life, and losing a valuable item can teach you a lesson. If you don't lose the item that you borrowed it could make you think that borrowing stuff from other people is okay all the time. That can turn out in being a bad thing because then that person might take the other person for granted.

A Clean Well-Lighted Place ESSAY

Ernest Hemingway was born on July 21, 1899, in Oak Park, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. His mother, Grace Hall, was an opera singer. His father, Clarence Edmonds Hemingway, was a doctor. In "A Clean Well Lighted Place," Hemingway really focuses on the older waiter who has realistic understanding of the word “nada.” Hemingway lived in a sad dark depressing miserable life. Lots of things got to him, quickly. In the short story, Hemingway is far from being complex. His story is straight to the point. Everything he says is very important and meaningful. The author Ernest Hemingway has lots of great description in what everything is talked about. In the story the shadows explains how Hemingway’s character is. Ernest Hemingway realizes that he has to do something to not make is live so miserable but at the end it comes to know hope.

Waking up everyday to the old man was just another dark depressing start. He had some ups and downs when he was married to his wife. But his wife died and now he lives very lonely and sad. Ever since his wife died he never likes being in his house because it just makes him more depressed. He thinks more about his wife when he’s at home. So the old man spends all his time at the café because he feels better and it’s a lighted place to him. But when he’s at home nothing makes him happy. The workers at the café want him to leave. So the old man walks to a different café. This applies to a realistic story because there are people now that feel like Ernest, that have to go through their wife or husband dying. When that happens you are always going to be depressed but what might be different is Ernest is depressed all day long. Most of the time it’s an on and off thing. Twenty eight years later Ernest Hemmingway ends up committing suicide.

The symbolism that is in the story is very important with lots of meaning. “It was late and every one had left the café except an old man who sat in the shadow the leaves of the tree made against the electric light. Darkness is trying to make the old man commit suicide but the lights are trying to save him. The shadow is what hides the old man, a balance of light and dark. Shadows follow you, as your own darkness stays with you. The younger doesn’t understand the meaning of the shadow. The old waiter is wise, more experienced in life and cares about the old man. He tries to educate the younger waiter. The shadows also symbolize how the old man feels.

A clean well lighted place has lots of good understanding concepts and really makes you think on what is happening. As the story relates to how people feel in real life, the old man getting drunk and doesn’t want to come home because he is depressed with no body home to socialize with, it doesn’t get better. Twenty-eight years later the old man ends up killing himself from depression. Which tells you that twenty-eight years of depression is a long time with a lot to deal with. The old man should of gotten some counseling or talked to someone. His life could of got better if he was willing to change but he wasn’t, the old man just really didn’t know what to do. To him his only option was suicide.
